Our Services

Preventative Care:

Regular checkups help prevent major problems like tooth decay and gum disease.  Regular checkups include hygiene appointments, annual x-rays, periodontal (gum) disease screenings, TMJ screenings, and oral cancer screenings.

Dr. Bracker and her staff use the most up to date screening procedures with the most modern cleaning equipment. This includes the use of the DIAGNOdent laser system.  DIAGNOdent can detect tooth decay in hard-to-reach and hard-to-inspect places that a visual exam might not discover.

Restorative Care:

Dr. Bracker provides comprehensive individual consultations to determine your needs, and to recommend the best care options.  If necessary, she may even refer you to a dental specialist.

Minor restorative care provided at Dr. Bracker’s office includes fillings, root canals, extractions, and bonding.  Major restorative care includes crowns, bridges, partials, dentures, veneers, and dental implants.

For major restorative care, Dr. Bracker can help you reshape and whiten your smile with porcelain veneers. Dental implants are also an option, and are a great way to replace missing or damaged teeth. Crowns, bridges, partials, and dentures may all be solutions for restorative care as well. Set up an appointment today to have Dr. Bracker and her expert staff help you decide the best course of action for your smile.

The office offers same day full and partial denture repair.  Bring your dentures in by 9 a.m. and we will refit you before 4 p.m.  We make precision partials that eliminate exposed clasps (partials can also be replaced by a permanent bridge or choosing dental implants).

Gum Care:

Gum disease is serious business.  Research suggests there may be a link between periodontal disease and other health concerns such as heart disease, stroke, diabetes, bacterial pneumonia, and increased risk factors during pregnancy such as pre-term delivery and low birth weight babies.

If you suffer from periodontal disease, take advantage of Dr. Bracker’s in depth cleaning program and special instructions on how to take care of your teeth at home.  This will enable you to control and possibly eliminate your specific periodontal problem.

Cosmetic Care:

Dr. Susan Bracker and her staff pride themselves on making your smile more spectacular.  They can do so through a number of cosmetic procedures including teeth whitening, bonding, and veneers.

Whitening procedures can minimize yellowing and brighten your smile in just a one-hour visit.  Bonding procedures can help restore chipped or broken teeth, fill in gaps, or reshape and recolor your smile.

While often considered restorative work, dentures, partials, crowns, bridges, and implants can all improve the appearance of your smile.

Child and Infant Care:

At Dr. Susan Bracker’s office, we LOVE kids, and most of us are parents too.  The American Dental Association recommends you visit a dentist when your child’s first tooth develops around six months of age. At that time you should begin brushing with a small amount of water.  If you are considering toothpaste before your child is two years old, consult a dentist or doctor first.  Around six years of age, a child’s adult teeth will begin to replace their primary teeth.

At Dr. Bracker’s office, your children are always welcome.  In fact, we have a separate children’s waiting room (pictured right) with books, toys, games, and lots of video games including X-Box, X-Box 360, and Nintendo Game Cube.  There should be plenty to keep your child (or perhaps your husband) entertained and relaxed before their visit.
